ToC Assessor Courses
Two Days:
This allows certified (within two years of their last certification) ToC trainers/facilitators to become a ToC Certified Assessor (TCA) and their organisation to become an Internal Certification Centre (ICC).
Four Days:
This allows an experienced trainer (with at least two years of experience) without a recent certification to be assessed as a Certified ToC Trainer and also become a ToC Certified Assessor (TCA). For more details on our ToC Certification Criteria and the reasoning behind it, please click here.
Why have some of your ToC Trainers become internal ToC assessors?
- Your assessors can regularly reassess every four months (as recommended) instead of a delivery check every two years (a far larger risk of poor practice evolving).
- Your assessors can recertify ToC Trainers who have attended one of our ToC Courses by videoing a short session, completing a SOR and submitting their video clip and completed SOR for our LaPD Solutions assessors to validate and issue a certificate. Bear in mind, ToC Trainer recertification is only required every two years. All other informal assessed sessions will be to health check their colleagues’ delivery style and ensure standardisation across the organisation.
- Number 2 above can be completed in stages and does not have to be a full session. IE record and assess the Introduction (1) and part of the Interactive Learning (2) of one session, then the Practice (3), Recap (4), Test (5) and Close (6) of another.
- Your assessors can just arrange a short role-play session (as we did on the last day of their ToC course), and complete a SOR and submit their video clip and completed SOR for our LaPD Solutions assessors to validate and issue a certificate.
- Your assessors can regularly informally assess your trainers and ensure areas for development are addressed through internal coaching as required.
- Your assessors would be able to share best practices for various sessions and continually improve the organisation’s offering to its clients.
